The awning has great coverage and makes for a nice flow with the tent. Meaning, you can get in and out of the tent always being protected from the elements. Set up is relatively easy, with a second person it’s much quicker. Only issue is strong gusts of wind will often wipe out the poles and you have to reset it.But the huge coverage and better “flow” outweigh this issue by far!

The design is great if you're looking for some extra square footage in a tent. Was really torn between a clamshell design and this, but needed some extra room for the dog. The awning was the best of both worlds, having the hard shell with crossbars, but opens up to a much larger space. And A+ on them for customer service.

The awning was a success in all 3 regards. The material is high-grade and kept everything dry. It was easy to set up and I am 100 pounds and 5 feet tall and did it by myself. I only used the front two poles and then tied the rest of it down…that way I had more privacy, especially when I added the awning extension. It was almost like having a little room to myself which I could open up if I wanted to. Overall, I’m really happy with the awning and would recommend it.
